Holiday Whirlwind

Holiday Whirlwind

Phew! It has been a busy two weeks! We had a wonderful Christmas, spending time with family and friends and enjoying Camilla. The best gift we received was Camilla learning to walk. It was so much fun to watch her expand her horizons this way during the Holiday Season.

I just had to include this shot of Camilla with Santa. My Stay at Home Moms group had a Christmas party on December 20th. It was a great time, but Camilla did not like Santa very much. I was really surprised because she normally goes to anybody! But when I tried to put her on Santa’s lap, she started screaming and clinging to me. It was so sad.

Here we are opening gifts at Grammy and Grampy Treats’ house December 23rd.

Christmas Dinner at our House–both the turkey and goose turned out great!

Camilla in her wagon from Grandma and Grandpa Roskos!

My birthday was December 27th. Since Todd was working, Camilla and I went over to my parents’ house for the afternoon and hung out with the whole family–almost. We missed having my little brother Jonathan with us, but everyone else was visiting. We all went for a walk around Lake Louise. Here’s Steven with the twins, Hope and Anna.

That evening, Todd joined us all for dinner at Lake Louise. Here’s Seth, Mandy, and Steven’s eldest daughter, Sarah Grace. She looks like a blonde version of myself as a kid–so much so that she gets called Alison by mistake during these large family gatherings. Poor Sarah Grace!

Sarah Grace, Anna, Josiah, and Hope.
Dad with Rebekah and Frederick.
The next day we went to “Outrageous”–a cafe/boutique. L-R: Mom, Camilla, Seth, Mandy, me, Anne, and Susan. April took the picture. Thanks, April!
I guess that sums up our Christmas Season–hectic and fun. I’m so glad we got to visit with everyone!

    What wonderful pictures…

Happy Birthday, Alison! Reading your blog post reminded me that I hadn’t been in touch to say that yet. I pray that the next year of your life will be full of joy, peace, health and love.

    Blessings,
