12 Jan Advent Conspiracy
I have a lot to catch up on–many, many pictures from our Christmas season. But I wanted to share something I learned from a few of my friends. Many of us are disillusioned with how commercial Christmas has become. We celebrate Jesus’ birthday by buying, buying, buying–and stressing out. I want to make some changes next year. I’m not sure exactly what those changes will be, but Advent Conspiracy has some good ideas. Make sure you watch the video. Posted at 11:22h, 14 Januarygreat site, thanks for sharing. we really cut back this year and only bought for ourselves, our parents and nieces and nephews and a just a few people down here – it was really nice to not feel the pressure of running around trying to buy a bunch of gifts out of obligation (we usually buy for a ton of people).It was a much less stressful holiday season in those regards. I’ll have to remember to check back at this site next year for a good reminder!
