22 Jan Our Little Peanut
She finally topped 20 pounds! Yesterday Camilla and I headed to the pediatrician because she had a fever. It turned out to be the tail end of a cold–nothing serious. But the exciting news is that she weighed in at 20 lbs. 15 oz. (with her clothes and wet diaper, that is)! And at 2 feet 7.75 inches, Camilla is above the 75th percentile for height. Tall and thin, just what every girl wants to be these days. But we’ll work on making sure she knows she’s beautiful just the way God made her, whether or not that fits in with society’s ideals.
As promised, here’s a shot of her getting up to standing all by herself!
“Hey, I just discovered if I pull this fishy’s tail, he buzzes and shakes like crazy!” Oh, the things we learn every day!
