09 Dec Second Sunday of Advent–Justice
One of the ways we remember Jesus at Christmastime in our household is through the tradition of the Advent Wreath. On the four Sundays before Christmas we read scripture, light the appropriate candle and sing a Christmas carol with Todd accompanying on the guitar. In my house growing up we followed this tradition, so it’s one of my favorite ways to prepare my heart for Christmas. It helps me slow down and remember what we’re celebrating. 
Yep, the beard is gone as of this morning. I’m kind of sad. I rather liked the look and wanted to see what it was like as it got longer.
